During first ten years after graduating in 1965, Mr. Dawood worked with foreign consulting engineering firms including M/s Frederic R. Harris Inc. and M/s. Cohen-Barreto-Marchartas Inc., of USA. Since 1975, he has been one of the principals of M/s Mushtaq and Bilal and has been involved in the structural design buildings bridges, highways, marine structures; preparation of feasibility studies; and vetting and review of various technical works. He has also served as a visiting lecturer in NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi. He has been actively involved in structural rehabilitation of fire/blast damaged buildings and conservation of historical buildings.

Najam Bilal is a principal of the firm and has more than 25 years of diverse experience in planning and structural design of commercial and residential buildings, factories, roads and bridges and supervision of heavy construction and industrial projects. He provides expertise in contract preparation and management, progress monitoring, quality control, and liaison with Government agencies, local and international consultants and contractors.
